Absolutely phenomenal experience! We opted for the family-style dining option, and it was a delightful adventure. While we knew the main dish in advance, the rest of the menu was a complete surprise—and each course somehow surpassed the last. Andre, the owner, was incredibly attentive, frequently checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between relaxed and inviting, and the service was truly exceptional. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Traverse City. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had, and the overall experience was second to none.

Bushell’s is an absolute must-visit! After hearing countless rave reviews about the incredible atmosphere, friendly staff, and outstanding food, I finally decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did! It’s officially my new go-to spot in Traverse City. The cocktails are exceptional—some of the best I’ve had in the area. Not only are they expertly crafted, but they’re also reasonably priced, making them an absolute steal for the quality. The food? Simply out of this world. The portions were generous, the flavors were unforgettable, and the prices were incredibly fair. What’s even better is knowing that everything is locally sourced, which adds a whole new level of appreciation to the experience. If you’re looking for a dining experience that will exceed your expectations, I can’t recommend Bushell’s enough!

AMAZING! I love Bushell’s. I have been in multiple times and every time I get something I love. The food is amazing. The fried chicken and fried green tomatoes are delish! The cocktails are creative and it’s a fun spot to get drinks with friends and chat. The bartenders are always very nice and helpful with any questions I have. Every cocktail I’ve had has been amazing and the rotational cocktails are always fun!

Amazing restaurant! We had the Keylime Martinis, braised beef, white fish, Carrots and beets. Everything was delicious! The owner Andre was warm and inviting, love the vibe of the restaurant.

My sister and I stopped in on a whim before a movie and were totally floored by how good the food was. Nicely decorated restaurant, good ambiance for a night out. We were disappointed jerk beef and collard greens weren’t on the menu since we saw those dishes mentioned online but the food we had definitely made up for it. We got cornbread, beet salad, shrimp cocktail and roasted chicken. Everything was really good but the roast chicken was spectacular- lightly crispy, super juicy, unique combination of flavors. We’ll definitely be back!

Every single thing about this place is amazing. The food... the service.... Our servers were Savannah and Andre were absolutely amazing. I personally got "How you bean" excellent espresso martini. Our friends got the lavender dust. So cool!! A must try in traverse city!

I had a great time on both of my visits to Bushell’s Kitchen & Cocktails. The customer service is great and the food is amazing. I had the Chicken for dinner on my first visit. Today I had the Deviled Eggs, Greens, and Popcorn Chicken. All of the items I’ve tried so far are very good. I definitely highly recommend this place when you’re in Traverse City.

We tried... the four main dishes... all of them were very good, in special the pork belly and the white fish.... i am putting just 4 star on the food due to the devil eggs and potato chips were a little bit salty...
